Marcelo Torres, director del Consejo de la Judicatura en Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, se refirió a las imágenes que circulan en la red social Facebook.
Las imágenes son capturas de una supuesta conversación a través de WhatsApp, entre Torres y una tercera persona, donde se habla de la entrega de dinero y de botellas de licor a cambio de favores en resoluciones judiciales. Incluso se involucra a personas allegadas al funcionario.
“El teléfono de la institución es de uso del director y los mensajes que ahí se ponen en ningún momento han sido escritos por mi persona. Es algo forjado”, dijo Torres y manifestó que existe una aplicación de pago para forjar conversaciones en Whatsapp y esa fue utilizada en este caso.
En rueda de prensa, Torres informó que el viernes 13 de octubre presentó una denuncia ante la Fiscalía para que investigue la información que circula en redes sociales y que empezó a ser publicada por “un abogado que está prófugo de la justica por una sentencia por abuso sexual”.
Además resaltó que desde que fue nombre director por Gustavo Jalkh, su “accionar ha estado alineado a las directrices que da el Consejo de la Judicatura y siempre en el marco que establece la Ley”.
Torres alega que quienes están detrás de esto son “personas resentidas que han sido separadas de la institución o que están prófugas de la justicia” y que “están interesadas en que exista inestabilidad, caos y desprestigiar a quien esté al frente de la institución”.
