Tras la reunión con los presidentes de las 7 comunas de la Nacionalidad Tsáchila, la Dirección de Obras Públicas del Gobierno Provincial definió el cronograma de intervenciones viales que se realizarán en estos sectores hasta el mes de diciembre.
Técnicos de la Unidad de Mantenimiento Vial explicaron a los dirigentes cuál será el trabajo que se realizará en cada una de las comunas, el número de kilómetros que se atendrán y el tipo de material que se colocará para el mejoramiento de la red vial.
Una vez conocido aquello, se realizó un sorteo para definir el orden en que serán intervenidas las comunidades, quedando establecido de la siguiente manera: Chigüilpe, Peripa, El Poste, Mapalí, Colorados del Búa, Cóngoma y Los Naranjos.
Antonio Gil, director de Obras Públicas, indicó que el trabajo inicia con el estoqueo de material como paso previo a los trabajos de mantenimiento, aclarando que una vez que se cuente con los volúmenes de cascajo requerido se procederá a la intervención.
En el caso de la comuna Chigüilpe, la primera en ser atendida, se acopiará aproximadamente 500 metros cúbicos de cascajo en la Casa Comunal para la rehabilitación de 10 kilómetros.
En total se tiene previsto realizar el mantenimiento a 140 kilómetros, entre las 7 comunas, siendo necesario un volumen estimado de 7 mil m3 de material para este trabajo.
Los comuneros deberán pagar USD 5 por cada volquetada de cascajo, pues se lo compra en una mina particular, explicó Gil. Este material es solicitado porque se compacta mejor y dura más.
De acuerdo a la planificación, se aspira poder concluir con la atención en todo el territorio Tsáchila hasta mediados del mes de diciembre, pues el objetivo es aprovechar al máximo lo que resta de verano.
