Previo a la realización de la obra, hoy martes 17 de octubre el Municipio de Santo Domingo socializó con los moradores del recinto Las Delicias, ubicado en el km 24 de la vía Chone, la construcción del sistema de agua potable y alcantarillado de ese poblado. Los trabajos iniciarán la próxima semana.
El contratista tiene 240 días calendario hasta junio del 2018 para concluir con esta obra en una área de influencia directa de 45 hectáreas. El presupuesto asciende a 1 millón 279 mil 133 dólares, y es financiado por el Banco de Desarrollo.
El proyecto contempla el sistema de agua potable: construcción de pozo profundo, construcción de acreadores de bandeja, construcción de tanque de reserva de H.A, capacidad 200 m3, tuberia PVC de 50 mm a 160 mm. Mientras que el sistema de alcantarillado contempla la construcción de cuatro plantas de tratamiento y tuberia PVC de 160 mm a 250mm.
Francisco Santos, Director de Desarrollo Comunitario, destacó que existió buena predisposición por parte de los moradores de Las Delicias, para la ejecución de esta importante obra, y que el Municipio continuará trabajando en todos sectores que necesiten del trabajo municipal.
